Jay-Z will perform the Super Bowl LXI Halftime Show on Feb. 14, 2027. The NFL, Apple Music, and the rapper announced the selection on Monday. The game is scheduled for SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

Roc Nation, Jay-Z's production company, has managed the halftime production since 2019. The group recently signed a five-year extension to keep the role through 2029. Under their direction, the shows have featured more hip-hop and rap artists.

The last halftime show held in Los Angeles took place in 2022. Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar performed that year. 50 Cent and Anderson .Paak also appeared. Other recent headliners include Kendrick Lamar and SZA in 2025, Usher in 2024, and Rihanna in 2023.

Jay-Z has a 25-time Grammy record but has never played at a Super Bowl before. He is currently touring to mark the 30th anniversary of his album "Reasonable Doubt" and the 25th anniversary of "The Blueprint."

His tour, called The Jay-Z 30 Tour, began with three nights at Yankee Stadium in July. He then played two shows in London and one in Paris in September. His final scheduled concerts were Oct. 23 and Oct. 24 at SoFi Stadium. Those dates now serve as a warm-up for his upcoming Super Bowl set.
